Founded in 1935

Happy 85th anniversary to us! Since 1935, the Martha Washington Garden Club has been meeting to hear educational lectures , working on Community Gardens, helping with Garden therapy at assisted living communities, providing college scholarships in memory of member Jane Parr, touring gardens, hosting plant sales, educating the community on healthy horticultural practices and so much more. We thank you all for being a part of this group and we look forward to meeting up again in the future. In the meantime, do some at home garden therapy and keep being a good steward of Planet Earth.

Let’s Meet! At long last! Our first meeting of the new season will be in person at Core Creek Park, Pavilion 9 on Wednesday, September 22 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. At this first meeting we are excited to announce a Succulent Make and Take Workshop. We will create a unique table décor using pumpkins, succulents and other dried plant material. This creative design will last throughout the fall season. Afterwards, the succulents can easily be transplanted to another container for continued enjoyment. All supplies will be provided by the Garden Club. You MUST preregister! Please email Barbara Heisler at heislerbd@gmail.com to reserve your spot. Also, please note that masks are required.
